TECHNOLOGY FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Lightweight, polycarbonate lenses designed for
performance and providing better impact resistance than glass or
CR-39 lens material.
• GXP™ incorporates a high quality distortion free polarizing
film that won't fade, warp or crease. Our polycarbonate lenses are
manufactured as a "one piece" injected polarized lens.
This "one piece" injected polarized process also
eliminates any possbile film delamination while increasing optical
clarity and prolonging product life.
• GXP™ utilizes a mirror treatment that immediately deflects a
portion of the visible light from entering the lens while
controlling the precise amount of 'right' light to enter.
• A hydrophobic lens coating that repels water and moisture to
make the lens easier to clean and reduces static build up, while
increasing the overall visual and physical performance of the
lens.
• Three collections-Aluminum, Metal, and Sport Plastic.
Protection
What is glare?
Glare is simply a blinding concentration of light reflected off
surfaces like asphalt, sand, water, snow or ice. Glare impedes
vision, hampers concentration and can lead to problems such as
headaches and eye fatigue. Like a deer caught in headlights, all
you can see is the glare that blinds you.
Eliminating Glare
The most common reaction to glare is to reach for a pair of
ordinary sunglasses. Big mistake. Sure, sunglasses reduce the
total amount of light reaching your eye. But, like squinting, they
don't eliminate glare. They merely reduce what your eyes
want-light. Visual information. Stimuli. The best way to eliminate
glare, while letting in the light your eyes crave, is by wearing
GXP Polarized Eyewear™. |
