Are your sunglasses authentic?

All of our brand name sunglasses for sale are 100% authentic.  The savings realized by doing business over the internet are passed along to our customers.

Where can I find repair information?

You can visit the website of many of our manufacturers to find repair and warranty information.  Manufacturer's warranty normally only covers manufacturer's defects and does not cover lens and frame breakage due to accident and misuse.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes, you can purchase gift certificates for any occassion at Ultimate Shades.  The gift certificates range from $25 to $200 and can be deliveried to the recipient via e-mail or by regular mail. The e-mail or gift certificate will contain a code that can be entered during the checkout process on our website.

What kinds of credit card do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB.

Does your sunglasses come with cases?

Yes, every pair of sunglasses on our website comes with the original manufacturer's hard case or cloth pouch.

How much is shipping and handling?

You can find detailed shipping and handling information on our order info page.

Do you ship to international destinations?

Yes, we ship to most international destinations via the U.S. Postal Service. We currently only accept American Express and the JCB card for international orders. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery to international destinations.  There is a $20 handling fee for all international orders.  For Canada, the handling fee is $10.

I need help picking out the right pair of sunglasses.  Can you help me?

Sunglasses are a statement about you. Your personality, your fashion, your style. Choosing a pair of sunglasses is a reflection of yourself.  We provide you with shopping tips and a sunglass selection assistant tool to help you pick out the right pair of sunglasses based on your facial features and tastes.  However, there's is not substitute to trying the sunglasses on yourself.  So go to your local sunglass store and try on your favorite pair of sunglasses and come back and purchase one from our website for a great price.  

Can you tell me more about POLARIZED sunglasses?

Fishermen and boaters are the traditional users of Polarized sunglasses to reduce glare from the water they spend so much time on.  But in recent times drivers and other sports enthusiasts have realized the advantages of polarized lenses.  How do polarized lenses work? Light reflected from surfaces like a flat road or smooth water is generally horizontally polarized. This horizontally polarized light is blocked by the vertically oriented polarizers in the lenses. Do you do prescription sunglasses?

We currently only offer prescription for Bolle, Maui Jim, and Serengeti sunglasses.  We will be adding more brands in the future.

Can an item that is not on the site be ordered?

If we carry the brand of the item you are looking for and the item is not discontinued we will try to locate and order it for you.  You must have the model number of the item available.  Please email us at sales@ultimateshades.com

Why are some items discontinued?

When the manufacturer discontinues a particular model, we mark it as discontinued on our website. Any item that's shows "discontinued" is also most likely out of stock.  Please email at sales@ultimateshades.com or call us for availability.

Stock Availability

Even though we make every effort in having every item we have for sale in stock, there may be instances when an item is out of stock or is back ordered by the manufacturer.  To ensure a sunglass model you are interested in is in stock, please call our customer service representative at 800-853-6242 or email sales@ultimateshades.com  to check for availability.
